Our Story
Nikhil Sharma and Amanpreet Kaur, the couple behind Nikhil Sharma Hairdressing have combined experience of almost 40 years in the Hair and Beauty Industry.
Nikhil is the Art Director at NSH, has won numerous awards and accolades for his creative talent, including ‘Vogue Best Hair artist’, first runner up in L’Oreal’s New Generation Award, was a member of Sebastian Professional’s Urban Design Team India, and is currently a wella Passionista for India.
Nikhil has trained with brands like Vidal Sassoon UK, Toni and Guy (UK, Singapore).
Nikhil’s work has graced the pages of top fashion magazines like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, GQ, Harper Bazaar, Salon International, Style etc and he has represented India at the 2012 Olympics as a member of Wella’s hairstyling team.
Nikhil has done editorial work for Sebastian professional in Korea, Japan and Singapore.
Amanpreet Kaur, the CEO of NSH brings in her expertise from working at Oberoi’s and Le Meridien, Amanpreet has excelled in operations and PR. Together, Nikhil and Amanpreet make a dynamic duo, creating magic in day-to-day operations and providing a delightful experience for all their clients.
Their dream was to create a salon that went beyond just providing haircuts or salon services; they wanted to provide a one-stop-shop for all beauty and hair services, where clients could simply sit back and trust the expertise and talent of team.

Our Founder Nikhil Sharma with over 18 years of experience, has become a name to be reckoned with in the Hair & Beauty industry. Nikhil has been awarded time and again for his creative talent, he was the 1st runner up, pan India in 2005 L’oreal’s new generation award. 2010 was a milestone year for him where he was chosen by SEBASTIAN PROFESSIONAL as member of URBAN DESIGN TEAM and the same year became Trend Vision Runner up by WELLA. He was also awarded Vogue beauty Awards for BEST HAIRSTYLIST 2010, and ESTETICA Colour Artist of the year 2010. He had the honour to represent India in 2012 Olympics as a member of Wella team to hairstyle the athletes.
After being associated with global brands like Vidal Sassoon UK, Toni and Guy (UK, Singapore) and Sebastian as Master Trainer in training programmes conducted by them. Nikhil has performed in shows all over the globe [Korea, Japan, Singapore, Portugal, New York, London and Paris to name a few]. His work has been published in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Salon International, Estetica, Hair and Cosmopolitan magazines in India. Nikhil has also been featured as a columnist on Hair in leading newspapers of Delhi.
Nikhil’s dream was to create a space of his own where you don’t just get a haircut or a salon service, but clients could get a treatment for their hair, scalp and skin woes. With so much commercialisation and mushrooming of Salons in the market, clients are unsure who to trust
for their hair concerns. The problem was with the ethos of how Salon functions today. This thought gave birth to Nikhil Sharma Hairdressing, a philosophy, a salon, a one stop-shop for the best beauty and hair services to treat you with the latest equipment and products in the industry.
Amanpreet Kaur, the CEO of Nikhil Sharma Hairdressing is the lady behind the operations of the salon, her excellent PR skills and empathy make her endeared to her clients. Amanpreet has excelled in the industry with her past experiences at Oberoi’s, Le Meridien and other premium salons in Delhi NCR. Both Nikhil and Amanpreet make a wonderful team who jointly give a delightful experience to all their clients. Nikhil’s Talent and Amanpreet’s decade old experience create magic in the day to day operations!
